The enemy lay dead, the room still, spells exhausted. All that remained were the two heros, wounded and worn, and one healing draught. Rurik, a dwarven druid, knew he could last until morning, when he would be able to cast the necessary healing magic. Joy, his elven companion, on the other hand... He had been able to stay in the back of things, but she had a tendancy to wade into the thick of it. Though a mere patter by trade, she was no mean hand with her elven honor sword, sometimes weilding two at once, and the armies of the Kanri tribes fell before her like so much wheat. It was that danged golem.... Rurik knew there was no choice. He could survive with a useless arm. Joy would bleed out before morning. Getting her to accept the last potion...? Refighting the battle might be an easier task.

Done for extra eps as a game illustration. A few liberties were taken given my limited prop library, but done in Poser. so You saw that, Max, Right? Aftermath of our last battle, though we were not down to our last potion they just weren't working on me. Cursed wounds from a clay golem can sure torque one's day! (took me three days to recover!! Ironically, the amount of time it took me to do this picture!) Minimal postwork. I think I'm getting better!

Awsome picture. The girl's bloody hand on the floor is great. o_o And her expression.

:-) Sandra Leigh Wagner replies: "thanks. the dm said I really captured the moment@!!"

This is quite an image, I tells you. I don't know how people manage to make fancy 3d-things like this, but it's a really good one!

:-) Sandra Leigh Wagner replies: "thank you. It took me the better part of two years to get this good and I still need help with lighting...."

Yes! the hand, I was just going to say that! The hand on the floor is sooooo awsome! Dwarfs cloths look a lil' pixilish... buuut it all gets better with practice.

:-) Sandra Leigh Wagner replies: "thanks. Fur is damned difficult in poser4 and its the mottled texture I used for his pants. He's got a whole new outfit now! shows off lots of chest!"

Good job modeling!

:-) Sandra Leigh Wagner replies: "thanks, but all I did was pose them. I had little to do with the modeling."

WOW...I have never seen 3D like this in Elfwood before! I love i edhelwen.. She's sooo cool... Odd concept however, dwarven mage.. Anyways, I love this image. Could I perhaps draw it for you??...draw this? I guess, if it inspires you. I just didn't feel like using a pencil. The better I get at Poser the more addicted to it I get it seems. I love the full color and detail I can get out of it. And if anyone pretends that its a faster medium... they're full of it. Its not if its done right.
thank you for the compliments (though I've seen better in the woods) but what is "i edhelwen"? Oh, and Rurik's a druid, a nature priest and that's even weirder!</i>

Great pic, love her face, umm, his hair is kinda flat, and the texture of the pants seems off. But i like it!!!

:-) Sandra Leigh Wagner replies: "yeah. Hate those pants. I've done another with better pants, and there is a shortage of cool men's hair out there. But that should change with my cuffed tail I just bought!"
